This little footstool arrived to be recovered. However, the webbing and the stuffings both sagged leaving a sunken top and the stitched edges were all leaning out.

Rather than completely reupholster, it was decided to add more stuffings to the top and work another edge around the stool.

The extra hair filled the sunken top and using the new edge to pull in and reshape the outside. Blind through ties, that would not be visible under the stool, were put in to hold the top flat and make it firm.

A new leather cover and nailed on trim completed the work.
Time to put your feet up!
