Corner chairs are pretty uncommon in furniture shops today. Yet they make brilliant use of neglected nooks for seating.
This delightful example arrived with no stuffings nor any indication of what it might once have looked like.
Fortunately, another similar chair was available, still with upholstery. That acted as a model of the amount and shaping of the seat.

First new webbing was added with a hessian support cloth on top. Care was taken around the damaged section of the frame.

Next, stuffings were added, topped with barrier cloth.
The cover fabric was attached, pulled tight over the stuffings.

Braid was added around the seat edge as the final touch.
