Two painted bedroom chairs needed new covers. The new fabric was the same as the old which, while a little faded, showed significant wear. It was decided to recover the seat, back and arms but leave the outer back as it was – it will not be seen.

The chairs were finished with double piping – ends butted together.
The glued on piping and the stapled on fabric was all removed.

The chairs were ready for recovering.
New fabric was added to the back, followed by the seat and arms.
New piping was added around the fabric edges.

All joins were covered by a wrap of fabric – at the bottom edge of the front and at the back of the seat.

The two chairs were finished in the same manner.
Ready for delivery.

This project also included the making of matching Bedroom Bolster and Cushions for the same bedroom.
