A set of six dining chairs were to get new covers. Not so much that the beige covers needed replacing but more to spice up the dining room!
The seat pads were unscrewed from the seats.
They were turned over and the fixings for the cover – which were hidden when the pads were attached – were removed. The old cover fabric was discarded.
The seats were covered in new FR wadding to ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and then the cover.
The textured velvet was carefully pattern matched across all six pads.
The final touch was to add an undercloth – not there originally but a nice way to finish.
All six pads were screwed back on to their respective seats before returning to their owner.
Project complete.
