The fabric for the arm covers with curved edge to match arm shaping

New arm covers were made up. The main fabric was cut  out with a curved  front to match the arm profile.

Piping was sewn to the front and the arm front piece added. The raw edges were folded and top stitched to complete them.

The finished chair with new seat cushion

The inner seam was overlocked to prevent fraying.

A new seat cushion cover was made, following the same style as the original. The new foam pad was inserted into the cover.
