Attaching cushions to seats ensures they stay put! Very often used on kitchen seats they also can add a touch of comfort to outdoor seating.
The first example here is of buttoned Tie-on Cushions, stuffed with fibre pads. Two sets of ties are knotted with a bow around the back frame of kitchen chairs.
This example is of Bench Cushions. These foam filled cushions are held on with Velcro straps passing under the kitchen benches.
There are many other possibilities – no buttons, special shaping, unusual tying positions.
